Alabama is “Home Sweet Home” for Glenda Sanders. She is a graduate of Luverne High School and attended Troy State College (Now Troy University), where she earned a BS degree in Education. She began work with the Alabama Department of Human Resources, which also went through some name changes in her career span. She attended the University of Alabama, earning a Masters in Social Work. After retiring from the state, she has served as part time church secretary since 2001. She enjoys family, friends, reading, shopping, and “junking.”
